Have you thought about doing this as a flat design? I think it would work pretty nice with the colours you've chosen.

Yup, it's called Holo. I use a stock rom on my S3. I just don't think there's many elements you can attribute to being solely responsible by Holo though. This is just my thought if I was creating an app of similar style too.
