    New business... Help Please!

Good advice Thomzo, I've been to some of these HMRC courses as part of my previous job... they wanted me to learn payroll for some reason! My advice would be for you to use an accountant to work out your self assessment return, no accounts, no payroll and no annual return as you're not yet a...

Your domain. How many tlds should you have?

I'm pretty sure most people will try .co.uk after .com if they don't see your website, or even search for it by name. If you can easily buy the .com then perhaps its a bonus, but if you can't it's not such a big deal.

How did you establish a relationship with your printers...

I've worked at a couple of printers before starting my own venture (due to launch in the new year) and I agree about the problems graphic designers face when using a printer. Does anyone use Odesk/similar to get their company work?

Come up with your own solutions to common problems and sell them to small businesses, some of these problems could be getting online to sell something, or running a blog and so on... but trying out some projects through Odesk etc may be a good idea, try and stay local though so you can go down...

    Printer advice please!

Akemi, I'm selling it purely because it's taking up space when and is no longer required... I don't think it was required in the first place to be honest, hence the 10-15 prints since we first bought it 3 years ago! It's network compatible by the way so would suit an office setup too. If...
