Thank you for your words, i do agree the hair could be redone with a hair brush i should have done that in the first place!
this final outcome did end up somewhat oddly coloured i think i will do a minimal portrait edition as the back ground and this overall colour scheme was done at the end...
i'm finding creating scene which comprises of rough silhouettes is a good way to start the composition, adding detail to those and atmosphere around them

As i gather Composition is essential to a successful piece, though i find it hard to stick to any one technique i often find myself thinking weather or not too colour at the end or paint with colour from the beginning after having most experience with pencils or a fine pen i'm used to line...

I did over the space of 2 days probably spent about 5 hours total on it, first use of some new brushes i had found :)
This was a personal study.

finishing this piece i feel i have achieved a new level of skill compared to previous works
Colours have never been my strong point but i think i did much better with this, it really seems to improve a picture the more colours you get in there :)
