Hello. Just joined and saw your thread - I hope you don't mind me commenting.
I like the original bowl idea and wonder whether it's the emptiness of the bowl that gives it the 'begging' quality? Perhaps the hands should be presenting some kind of foodstuff?
The wheat head has huge overtones of 'organic' and I really think that you should be pushing the 'international' element as this is presumably the difference that the brand is presenting.
The term 'international' would suggest multiples/different kinds of foods/variety/speciality/unusualness and I wonder if this is something for you to consider. Think 'Carmen Miranda's hat' chock full of fruit or a market stall full of unusual fruits/veg.
