Hi all,

I stumbled across this site whilst looking for tips on how to progress myself as a designer. What I really want to do is learn of ways to get my name out there.

I am currently a graphic designer (I'd say designer) at a sign writing company in my town, all is going well and I've been there for a few months almost, but wish to freelance outside of work. I understand I need to register as self-employed etc., and that will be done when things actually start happening, but I need to learn how to bring clients in.

What could people suggest I do?
