Hello :)!
My name's Sophie, and I've just signed up to this forum because I'm really interested in becoming a graphic designer in the future I think. I'm only just 17 so I'm not exactly sure what I want to do - I'm interested in absolutely all areas of art really, so I'm probably going to do an art foundation course next year to try and help me decide what I'd like to do. But yes, I joined this forum because it seems really good and I'd like to get information about design news/contests etc and just be inspired!

A foundation course is exactly the right route - if you like art, you'll have a great time, and it'll give you chance to find out about and try out all areas of design.
