    Hi

Hi I am new to the board, I very interested in learning about graphic design and taking it up as a hobby.

One concern I have about doing this is what software to use, I know it can be very expensive. Can anyone suggest/advise on software to use? I am just looking at making logos to begin with, playing around with images for fun that sort of thing.

    Hopefully we can chat soon!

    Cheers

    John

Many of the Adobe programs would be useful, but yes they're very expensive, especially if you just want to dabble in design. Free trials are available if you search online. Adobe Illustrator would be best for logo design and Photoshop for working with images. Don't underestimate how much you can do without a computer though :) good luck with it
