    Hello from Scotland

Hello... I'm one of those oldster designers who trained using Letraset and Letratone (ask your dad) and paste-up and process cameras (ask your grand-dad) though I'm hoping to get the hang of these new-fangled computer thingies real soon now. In recent years I've mutated into an illustrator (that's illustrator with pen, brush and ink - not Adobe Illustrator) specialising in cartoon artwork and humorous illustrations.

I'm delighted to have discovered this forum and hope to interact and contribute as much as I can.

    Hi Jim,
Do you send out a monthly cartoon via e-mail. If you do I'm sure I get a copy!

    Hi Jim

My dad was 'one of those', a commercial artist and one of the best. Ironically, IT killed him off (not literally!).

    Welcome. :)

    Thanks for the welcome.

Pixels - I send out a weekly cartoon, every Monday morning. There's a gallery here If anyone would like to be added to the list, you can sign up here

Eagle - I think we're on at least one other forum together - I certainly recognise the name and I've admired your work for some time now.

Just noticed you on here for the first time - I've just subscribed to your weekly cartoon as they are exactly what I need on a Monday morning to set me up for the week
