after Masters in Graphic design now I am applying for PhD,
The research question is
"How can graphic design represent visual, cultural, social, and national identities through advertising at the current state of globalization?"
I am interested to know any comment or idea from you to develop the idea or maybe to answer any inquiry about it..

The question is broad and will need to be narrowed. May be best to find an institution first becoming trying to finalise the question? Good to know the specialisms of the faculty / research institute.

Hiya, welcome to the forum.

I didn't even know you could do a masters degree in graphic design, let alone a PhD.

I remember writing about all representing cultural, visual, social identities through advertising in my contextual studies module of my degree course. Looking at semiotics and ways of looking, commodity fetishism, etc..Had to write an 8000 word essay on it in fact. I imagine if I was looking at at on my degree course, you'll probably have to go a lot further - hence the 'globalization' part of the question. Don't you have to do something crazy like 30,000 words for a PhD?
