Prospectus design

Is anyone out there working on a college prospectus at the moment?

I started taking the photos and interviewing students for case studies in April and am now coming to the end of the design part of the job (have just been asked this morning to change the students on the front!!!!! ).

If you are currently putting a prospectus together how is it going? What problems are you coming up against?

I worked on a prospectus last year... Wasn't really my idea of fun as there was a lot of niggling caveats that the client wanted included!

They tend to be good profit projects if you don't mind the extra work involved.

It's actually the 2nd of August if you are referring to the post date on the forum, it's the default format, probably some way of changing it and will do when I get a moment

Back on topic ...

I've found the biggest stumbling block to be the front cover image (if using one) colleges tend to want to sum up everything about themselves in that one shot.

So it ends up with everything and the kitchen sink in there, every ethnicity etc.
Can be tricky to advise (and win) them against doing so.
