Working with designers

Hi All,

Just been having a browse of your forums and the wealth of talent around them. Got a few questions though.

I am a web developer and I do the odd site in my spare time working with a freelance designer, how do you guys in the part time to make a few quid here and there find this work? Is it word of mouth or via the usual online sites?

Also, I have no ability to design a website, but can follow designs, is there a market to team up with variouse web designers to convert their graphics into real sites? or is it primarily you all design and build your own items?

My issue is I have the skills to code (I'm a web developer full time) but I want to put my skills to use outside of work but have no idea where to start.

Anyone got any pointers?
