Creating an image made of text?

I want to create something in a similar style to the picture below. I've looked online for some tutorials or something but cant find anything of any use. I'm aiming to create something similar to the car but in the shape of stonehenge. Is it just a case of placing, resizing and warping type in photoshop?

I would probably use Illustrator and the Envelope Distort>Make with Top Object.

This is really quick without much effort but you get some good results if you play around. good luck :icon_thumbup:
