Just goes to show that sometimes the most simplest designs are the best!

People spend huge amounts of time to create over the top logos which may look nice but some of the most recognisable designs are simple.

I think that's more to do with the company and their brand building working towards recognition as opposed to the logo doing the work - in many ways, I can't help but feel that the success of any logo depends on the success of the business, regardless of whether it is simple or complex.
