    Drop Shadows!

    Hi guys,

Been seeing this drop shadow effect everywhere at the minute, anyone got any ideas on how to do it? Had a little play around in Photoshop with it, but just can't seem to get it right.

It’s probably a plugin or something but couldn’t the main image just have an arc shape behind it with the shadow on?

there're number of ways you can achieve this effect. one is to create a separate shadow layer one you have a DropShadow effect on a layer ("Create a layer")

Another is to duplicate the rectangle layer - blur it by about 3-4px and then either use transform (Ctrl+t) while holding Ctrl use Transform-Warp

    have fun
