Creating Delicate Floral Decals...

Hi All,

I'm new to this Forum Site so hello!

I am still new to the design industry - I have worked for my employee for a year now and was employed as the sole designer... so I have no Senior or Head of Design... so when I'm briefed upon decals for example, sometimes I get stuck...

So this is what I am stuck on today... I have been briefed by a Colleague to design a print that is 'red rose floral' - so like Cath Kidson style for example...

Does anyone know how to create these gorgeous, delicate designs or where I am get them to use commercially? Does it require hand drawings to be scanned?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's a regular question and I just don't know what to do.
