Default Saving for Web

Hello

When a 300dpi AI image is saved for web, is it automatically converted to 72dpi?

Thanks

Indeed- and when saving for the web you should ideally be saving in either .jpg or .gif depending on the type of graphic you are saving!

Phew it makes sense that "save for web" would change dpi but AI can be a tricky customer. I did send a "client" a jpeg for the web.

And Boss Hog in reference to your other post I will upload the freebie logos when done (I have the first one to show so will upload later)
