Hey,

So I have a request for a quote to sub in some images in an existing pdf. I don't think it'll take me more than 30 mins. My options are to turn down the work (becuase I'm busy enough as it is), to charge for half an hour (which barely makes the job worth doing) or to tell the client that I charge a minimum of an hour). I'm inclined towards the latter, especially since this is a client who often messes me about so that I end up spending more time than necessary on their projects, but it seems a little unscrupulous...

Just want to get a feel for what other people would do in this situation.

Estimate realistically and honestly how long the job will take and round up to the nearest 15 minutes (x hourly rate). But be realistic in your estmation in terms of what you know about the clients working practices.
