Default Frontpage 2000

Hi,

I have just created my first Website in Microsoft FrontPage 2000 and now am ready to publish it for the 1st time (scary)! I have my Web hosting and domain all registered.

The problem is when I click "File" in Microsoft FrontPage the "Publish Web" icon is not highlighted so I cannot transfer all the data to the server and get the site onto the net...

Any suggestions much appreciated?

Hi

You could try using an FTP software package such as FileZilla this is totally free and pretty simple to use.

FileZilla - The free FTP solution

Hope this helps :o)

Don't know if it will help at all, but Microsoft has some pages:

Publishing Your Web Site with FrontPage 2000
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/or...382401033.aspx
How do I publish to my site using FrontPage 2000? - Yahoo! Small Business Help
How do I publish my web site using Frontpage 2000 or 2002 in FTP mode .: Netfirms 24/7 Support

All but the last one assumes you can click the 'publish to web' button though I think.

Maybe you need to set up a server first somehow? Sorry, I've not used it for years.
