Thread: CD Cover Design Feedback

Okay, so I have been struggling with them on this for a little bit.

This is for Exodus, a Christian Hip-Hop group.

THEY wanted actual broken tablets in the background...but that just looked cheap and ridiculous. But I think the idea is still conveyed with the typography, which allows the design to remain "clean" as opposed to what they were requesting....

also they sent me samples of albums they liked [none of which were even close to what they wanted me to do]...all the designs are pretty clean and straight forward, and I think this fits in with those styles...

Yeah, i like that design a lot mate. Works well as a CD cover :)

I second what Col said above, looks really good and wouldn't look out of place on a shelf in HMV, well done.

I like the fact it looks quite gritty but not so much that they couldn't possibly be a christian group, good work.
Simple but effective.
