    Festival Logo Critique

    Hi there guys,

Starting a festival out in Croatia this summer, its a grassroots elecontronic music festival which is Brighton based and the event takes place on the beach over a 3 day period - Echo Festival
With the logo, I've sort of gone for the minimalistic look, nothing too flashy and keeping a kind of urban feel to it. In my opinion, its need more doing to it, but I've looked at it for far too long now to actually understand what...
I was pondering to get it professionally re-developed, but we're strapped for cash.
Any feedback at all is most welcome: I'm undecisive to which one should be our main logo, if we should use inner shadading, if we should include outer shading etc etc...

    with shading...

Firstly, the links for the 2 that supposedly have shading, don't have any shading, so don't know if you uploaded the wrong ones and the link for the logo without shading, doesn't work at all.

Looking at the actual logo, I'm not keen at all. The blue and green colours you've used are just too dull and cold. I'm not keen on electronic music but correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure anything to do with that genre of music is usually extremely bright, colourful, full of shapes, neon lasers etc..

You might have something here with the shapes of the white letters but the dull colour doesn't fit at all.

Maybe post some examples of the music that will be played and we can see if they link with the logo :)

I like it, also more partial to the one Paul picked out, but I would agree with Arrivals comment on the colour, I think it needs to be more vivid.

The only thing I feel might be worth mentioning is that with the circle and the style of the lines running through the text, it does remind me of a basketball somewhat.
