    Logo Positioning

Please not that this is NOT finished yet and i need to touch up the type, please ignore that for now....
Its the front side of a business card.

I really wanted to keep the lone under photography as I will be using similar on the back for email/site/tel

Does this logo need positioning more upwards in the middle at all or does it look OK as it is?

You need to sort the joins out on the script font - it's meant to flow together. You might have to redraw some of it or at least mess with the letterspacing.

...and you may want to put a 40-odd% opacity black rectangle behind the text - I'm finding it a little confusing / cluttered with all the curves etc. of the text and the background picture.

I couldn't see the first one very well but the placement of the second looks OK.
