    First post - Masthead design

    I've been set an editorial project for a graphic design college course. We have to design some double page spreads using text and images they provide for us. We also have to design a masthead for the magazine but this is a lesser element in the project. The brief just states a list of magazine names:

    DIM (Design International Magazine)
    The Hub
    4M&FUNK-TION (Form and Function)
    Rendered
    LYRD (Layered)

    They are fictional design magazines, only type and basic shapes can be used to create the masthead.
    Ive been experimenting and come up with these;

    My favourites are the first two as i feel they could work well as a masthead.

    any opinions or suggestions welcomed!

    I like the third one. If your gonna use one of the first two align them properly.
