Thread: England Handball Logo

Dear talented designers,

The England Handball Team are looking for a new logo for kit, publicity and international identity. The competition is open to all designers but is definitely a great opportunity for students or talented home designers.

What we're looking for:
A clear, visually interesting logo that represents both England (think flag or icons) and the sport of Handball. Rugby has the England Rose, Football and Cricket have 3 Lions, what can handball have?

Our current logo is the England Rose (much like the Rugby) and we want something with a more individual identity. It can be fun, but not offensive. The three lions playing handball is a possible example.

The prize:
You'll have your logo appear for the foreseeable future on all Team England kit, the website, publications and promotional material - it WILL be our identity!
You're logo will travel with us gaining exposure and recognition all over the world, being seen by over 20 nations and on national television.
You'll also get a full set of England Kit for yourself and a chance to meet the team if you are able.

Submission & Deadline:
All entries must be emailed to englandhandball@live.com. We'll give you a full set of feedback and the whole team and management will see your work. Please send in clear images (jpeg, gif etc), but be sure to keep the original as the winning entrant will need to provide a high quality image for production.
The deadline is 31 December 2008.
We look forward to receiving your entries.

Important Information:
Please do your research. The type of handball we play is a game where you hit a ball against a wall with your hands, NOT the one in which you throw a mini-football into a goal.
