UK Art Lantern Festival is the very first event in the UK that celebrates the Chinese Lantern Festival. The lanterns symbolise to let go the past year and blessing people in the next year.
The purpose of the Festival is to spread the blessing not only within China, but also the people in the UK! UKALF is taking place at Intu Trafford centre from 5th February to 20th April 2016.

Start thinking what to do ?
Its simple, to celebrate Chinese New Year of “Monkey”, we are looking for the best design for our event’s mascot in theme of “Monkey” and reward the top 5 winners.

This is a good prize. Will there not be a judging panel to pick the winner though? Deciding a winner based solely on 'likes' and 'shares' turns the competition into a popularity contest though. I know you want to promote engagement with your page, but the entrant who can drum up the most interest being the final winner doesn't actually seem that fair a way of deciding to me.

oh... so it's a facebook popularity contest.

Why do people do this type of 'contest', don't they know there are sites out there to specifically 'like' a post/user on facebook....meaning they can rig the results.
