Canny Creative Website Redesign

Looking to get some feedback on the start of the new Canny Creative site?

Go hard or go home? Don't really mind taking any sort of criticism, so aye, anything at all. Lay it on me.

Also, no space for social media icons...any ideas where they could go?

Could you have the social media icons floating, you know the ones you see that are attached to the left or right of your browser and move up and down when you scroll??

Yeah, I wondered about that too. I don't know if it would get mildly annoying though? I also considered just putting them in the footer. Also realised, no space for contact number at the top of the page :/

Hey Tony

Looks good. I'd remove 'founded in 2012' as that may put some potential clients off thinking you are new and not experienced enough.

Personally I'd add 3 columns underneath with a brief paragraph or two about your services, like Design, Websites, Branding. You need more textural content for the search engines. Include your region in the text too.

Hope that helps :)

We're in the middle of a rebrand and at a similar stage and thinking about the social media stuff. Everyone seems to just bung the icons in now with no questions asked. What do they achieve? I GET showing Tweets as it's content and it's fresh but Facebook? Someone clicks on a Facebook icon and they're off your site and pretty damn quick messaging someone they've just seen is online. I think ultimately you want people coming from those places not going to them. That's my feeling for it anyway - and I'm a bit biased as I'm weary of the social media revolution - I just don't enjoy doing it. I like developing and designing stuff on my computer and then going to the pub to socialise.

Anyway your design looks simple and clear so far and that's what all our clients always ask for.

Like them. Always good to see a brief insight into a companies services without having to navigate to a specific services page. :icon_cheers:
