Hello, I am a graphics designer when you design a website and you upload it to the internet and see it on internet explorer or firefox the layout at times is different,

can you design a good website that can cater for all good browsers eg firefox and internet explorer

Generally if you design/code in html and css you will not have problems (in my experience anyhow)
The answer is KISS - keep it simple, stupid or less is more.

It's not just IE vs FF, you will get different effects with different versions of browsers. I'm afraid that there isn't an easy answer, you need to check your design on several browsers.:icon_cursing:

And don't forget different Operating Systems as well (just to pile on the misery)

Also keep in mind your website's audience and their browsers and its different versions they might be using alongside their screen resolutions.

Lmfao. I just tried Chrome on my Mac today, glitchy as hell and constantly crashing. Having none of it.

It's built with the same rendering engine as Safari anyway.

In fact Chrome for Mac took ages to come out because that isn't the point of Chrome. Chrome was released as an IE killer and not to rival Safari, Firefox etc. I'm not surprised it is a bit ropey on a Mac.
