I want to know about your relationships with Clients!

I really would love your insights into working with clients as a freelancer. I’m a student currently completing my final year in design. Ive made a short survey that will take less than 5 minutes… Any response would be REALLY appreciated!

That's a dreadful survey. Do some research on effective survey design and try again. The questions you pose are almost impossible to answer withour context. Q3 for example depends on the project, the deliverables, location and timezone.

I agree with Fisicx. Question 3 is 'how long is a piece of string' and Q2 is the same as Q4. Even Q1 is too broad.
You need to be more specific to save us going in to lots of detail.

You would be better asking something like:

Name three ways a good client interacts with you.
Name three ways a bad client interacts with you.

Really appreciate the feedback. Not very experienced with conducting primary research so much needed criticisms. I'll re-evaluate the questions and post again when ready.

That's a bit of a personal question (giggle, blush).

What are you going to do with the data? Is this part of a bigger study? Will you be collating the results into a set of charts or statistics?

Ideally, your questions should be simple to answer - with check boxes or radio fields. I'd not differentiate between difficult or good clients. I've had some difficult clients who became really good business partners - one of which brings in lots of work. The difficulty was communication, he stuggled to articulate what he wanted. On the other hand I've had really great clients right up until the point when I asked for money.

So really think about what you want to achieve and formulate your questions from there.
