Overseas clients, any advice?

Hello all,

I run a small design studio in Leicester with quite a few local clients and UK based clients. We also do quite a lot of work under sub-contraction for media production agencies who work with large multi-national clients (the likes of Warner Bros. and Alcatel Lucient).

I was just thinking about marketing ourselves to overseas clients, as we have had some excellent feedback and success with our work for US based clients whilst being sub contracted by a UK based agency.

I've no idea where to start when it comes to explore the overseas market. Does anyone have any advice or website links that are worth exploring if I was looking to find clients in the US and other parts of Europe? As I'd quite like to have a look into it.
