Cheers Timmo

Just need to decide on the logo and skin first, the favicon will be the last thing taking into account the direction we go in.

Thanks again

I actually like the idea of having different colour schemes for "forums" for the different section.

Hi,

I like the logo. I think the green version is best and it's a good idea incorporating the speech bubble.
I also like the idea of a multi-coloured forum. The speech bubble in the logo could perhaps also be multi-coloured to reflect the various sections of the website.

Perhaps it would be good to have some music playing at the home page. I would be willing to provide some as I produce music! Maybe something ambient. Someone could then perhaps create a rotating GDF logo in time to the music! Some exciting typography would be a good idea too. I think it It would entice graphic designers. Also, maybe there could be some sort of interactive element to the website. Perhaps a project where people can contribute to an on going design project.

Cheers

Greg

Maybe start a thread where people can upload logo's? Then choose the one you like best?

I think spec work is a bad idea. Besides, the one that has been created is suitable (IMO) :D

I agree with Peter on this, not a big fan of music on websites, apart from itunes!
But its good that people are putting their ideas and opinions forward, thanks.
