Default How Do I Install A New Font?

How do I install a new font?

I downloaded it and it created a file in my documents but I don't know how to apply it from that point.

Do I have to open it with the application I want to use it in ie.Illustrator?

To answer your question, once you have downloaded the font and have it on your PC the quickest way is to open:

CONTROL PANEL > FONTS

Or the longer way round:

MY COMPUTER > DRIVE C > WINDOWS > FONTS

Then drag the font from where you have saved it into the font folder.

It will then install, then open your graphic design software and it will be there ready to use.

Any problems just give me a shout.
