identify the font in this logo?

hi everyone

I have a client who's forgotten what font she used for her logo. I only have one character to show you, so this may be a long shot, but can anyone identify it?



I'm guessing it's a fairly common one, as she's not a graphic designer or anything, but I couldn't find it anywhere...

yeah i tried a few of those font identifying sites, the trouble is it's only one letter and i think it's too little to work with

cheers sthomas, it is close, especially with the bolder versions... my one's a bit taller though (don't know what that's called in font terminology)

No problem - i think you're letter looks like a condensed version of the font (although I don't think Claremont comes in a condensed weight)
