Please help me find this font: From 1960's car product.

    Hi Chaps,
I recently re- ground the valves on my Mini, for which I borrowed a tin of cutting paste from my neighbour. On looking at the tin, I was instantly captivated by the fantastic 60's graphics of the tin.I was hoping that somebody may be able to identify the beautiful font from the images I'll attach, and if you could, I would be very grateful!
    Cheers,
    Brett!

Not off the top of my head but if you muck around with the undistorted copy on the lid and run it through What the Font it comes up with this:

    Grotesk No. 9 SHâ„¢ - Webfont & Desktop font « MyFonts

Not to far off, but Grotesk No.9 seems to be a serif font and the font on the tin seems to be sans serif. Thanks anyway! :)

Any grotesque font will be fairly similar. The Lane font looks a bit ropey too me.
