Just getting nowhere with a new job, so frustrating....

Basically ive been working at my present company for 6 years but would like a change. i apply for so many jobs and hardly get any replies..i have had interviews but the jobs havent exactly been what ive been looking for..
i am trying to update my portfolio and i swear its that, which is dragging me down..
surely there must be another job out there somewhere!!!!!

Why do you keep posting these threads Peter? Every week or 2 there's a new one. You don't seem to be listening to the advice and opinions people have offered in previous threads, so tell me, why should we bother now?
