Junior Graphic Designer / Artworker

Salary £11,000 - £16,000

A great opportunity to work for multiple brands in a company who are market leaders in their field, and to gain valuable experience servicing some of the UK and Europe’s largest retail and trade outlets.

The candidate must be qualified to HND level or equivalent in a related subject. Previous work experience is not essential if the candidate has a great portfolio. The candidate must demonstrate
competent skills in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, and knowledge of Adobe InDesign would be greatly beneficial. The candidate will not be required to use 3D software, but must have an interest and understanding of the need to ‘think’ in 3D when creating 2D artwork for packaging and POS items.

This is a new position in a fast paced environment. Reporting to the Graphic & Packaging Manager, the candidate will be working mainly on packaging, point of sale, point of purchase, and large format
print. However work on other media such as brochures, direct mail, and promotional material will also be required. The work would be mainly artworking, however a creative flair would be highly beneficial to help support the design and marketing team.

A team player is required, with a thorough attention to detail. The candidate must have the ability to produce consistently excellent work even under tight deadlines. They must be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and take great pride in their work and the brand it represents.
