    Suppliers who treat you like something they scraped off their boot. I've just got off the phone with Xamax - who basically abused me for asking for a quote on separation costs in T-Shirt printing. Basically the woman asked me why I was calling them, I explained, and she managed to tell me that it was stupid to ask that question, because of course there was a higher cost for complex separations. This is exactly what I phoned to find out...

    I know that communication can be a bit hard to get right, but surely it just makes sense to be polite and try and chat things through with the person you're on the line to. I certainly won't be using them in the future.

    ...customer's sending scanned images of their letterhead/flyer as print ready artwork, surely they don't think this is how it works

    Having a day where I wonder why I bothered to go to design school seeing as the suits upstairs know better at all times.

    I have that problem daily but my battle is with a Proof Reader who thinks they run the company, 12 Sales Reps who like to mess with adverts and fonts but dont really understand whats happening and a Managing Director who likes to tell the world hes from a design background because hes got a copy of photoshop 5!?!

    This is a set system that seems to be all to familiar these days. Morons insist you do things how they want no matter how crap it looks and no matter how many times you tell them why and how it looks crap. Then, when others see what you've produced for aforementioned morons, agreeing with your earlier opinion that it looks shite, it suddenly becomes YOUR baby and not theirs.:icon_cursing::icon_Wall:

    why do the course?? According to the suits you don't need a course to know everything better than a person who's trained for years.
