Default Which Digital Camera?

With Christmas fast approaching I am looking at pressies, might get my Mum & Dad a digital camera this year, any recommendations??

Ideally 10mp and one that doesn't have a stupidly long delay after pressing the button, in the region of £100 (ish)

Many thanks

Damon

Try KODAK EASYSHARE Digital Cameras - there are some 10mp cameras in the M and C series for £100. Most if not all look to have high shutter speeds.

I've go a Olympus X-835 8.0mp 3x Optical Zoom and 5x Digital Zoom. It's got a nice big screen, easy to use, takes some really good quality images and has a good battery life. Here. A 2gb XD from play is about £13 for it.

Try to get one with the best optical zoom. Digital zoom is pointless.

I have the Fuji FinePix J120 and right now you can get it online from Comet for half price!! (£99)

  • Megapixels: 10
  • LCD screen: 3.0"
  • Optical zoom: 5x
  • Digital zoom: 5.7
  • Internal memory: 24MB

Buy FUJIFILM FINEPIX J120B | 10 megapixel digital camera - Cameras & Camcorders | Comet

lol, that's the one I got Saturday in silver, couldn't try it but presumed as it was originally £200 that it was half decent, is it any good Col?

Just purchased an 8gb SDHC card from ebay for it, only £11 squids.

It's a Christmas pressie for my parents so hopefully they will be pleased with it.
