Hey all!!
I am in a bit of a hole lol. I have design a flash e-card using action script 3. So I want to make the name on the card editable (so people can put there own names in etc), I can not for the life of me figure out how to get this to work. I am using CS4 Flash and action script 3. Do anyone have any ideas lol I am stuck and need to get it sorted out lol Thank you All the best Sarah (not sure if this is the right place for this to be...sorry if not....)

How do you want them to put their own names in? within flash itself?
You can do it using variables...one way is to use an external text file with your variable in, then call the text file in your flash movie. Loading External Text Using AS3 URLLoader |

it depends on how your card will be accessed on your of other site. it looks like in your case you would want flash to communicate with ASP/PHP script that will get the data from DB or text file.
