Flash CS4 GIF Publishing error

Hi, I'm trying to publish a flash file as a GIF animation. Its publishes ok until I add text and then it just blocks out parts of the screen in sections with the font colour. If I publish as an SWF its fine can anyone help please?

Or does anyone know of any freeware were I can convert swf to gif as I will need to compress the file aswell eventually?
