Default open Corel Draw CDR in Adobe??

Hi guys,

Im new to the forum, but hoping someone can help.

I have received a file from a client which is a CDR file (its a logo created by some random and I cant get in touch with the person who created it). I do not have Corel Draw but running CS4 with Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign. I have tried opening the CDR in Adobe programs, but no luck.

I have spent the last hour looking through other forums and have not been able to find a way to open it.

Can someone please help or as to be so kind to let me send them the file and they open it in Corel Draw and send it back to me as an eps or ai file?? Its only 47kb (which also worries me that its so small...)

Massive thanks to anyone that can help :)

Firstly, welcome to the Graphic Design Forums

I don't use Corel so can't advise...

Give Mark "Eagle" a shout via PM, he uses Corel, he's a good guy and may be able to help you out.

You can download a 15 day free trial of Corel Draw.

That way you can open the file and then export it into a format that you can import into Illustrator. Probably PDF.
